Ujjayi breathing—known as the Victorious Breath or Oceanic Breath—is an invitation to listen to that intimate dialogue between body and mind. Its sound echoes the ebb and flow of the sea: steady, deep, and healing.

Practicing Ujjayi is beautifully simple and yet profoundly transformative.
A brief definition: you inhale and exhale through the nose while the glottis—this subtle gateway in the throat—remains gently narrowed. The air moves with a soft whisper that accompanies every motion, like a wave massaging you from within. This rhythm regulates the nervous system, awakens inner warmth, and draws the mind to stillness, turning each practice into a moving meditation.
